Kitchen facilities and refreshments available during your workshop.
Tea and coffee
Basic refreshments are available:
- Tea — A selection of teas
- Filter coffee — Batch brew using our Moccamaster (see our Filter Coffee Guide)
- Kettle — For hot water
- Milk — In the fridge
Coffee for your guests
Making a batch of filter coffee for your workshop participants is a nice touch. See our Filter Coffee Guide for instructions on using the grinder and Moccamaster.
Basic provision
We provide basic tea and filter coffee. If you need espresso coffee, specialty drinks, or catering for your workshop, you will need to arrange this yourself.
Fridge
The fridge is available for day use:
- Store refreshments or supplies for your workshop
- Please take your items home at the end of the day
Honesty fridge
The fridge is stocked with drinks available for purchase on an honour system.
- If you take something from the honesty fridge, please pay via the QR code on the fridge
- Prices are marked on the fridge
Not sure what is paid vs free? Tea and filter coffee are free. Canned drinks are paid. If in doubt, ask.
Kitchen use
The kitchenette area includes:
- Kettle
- Basic crockery (cups, mugs)
- Sink for washing up
Cleaning up
Please wash any items you use and leave the kitchen tidy:
- Wash cups and crockery after use
- Place clean items on the drying rack
- Wipe down surfaces if needed
Catering
If you are providing food or catering for your workshop:
- You are responsible for arranging and managing catering
- Clean up after your event
- Take any leftover food with you

Toilet
There is one shared toilet located near the kitchenette (one step up from the main workshop area).
- The toilet is shared by all users of the space
- Please leave it clean and tidy for others
Rubbish
Bins are located in the kitchen area:
- Please separate rubbish and recycling as labelled
- Take excess rubbish with you if the bins are full
