Hot Days

What to expect and what we do when it is hot.

Current setup

We are upgrading the heating and cooling, but a few things need to be completed first - including an electricity upgrade and retiring the gas system we inherited.

In the meantime, on hot days we use:

  • Fans
  • Opening windows
  • Temperature monitoring

What you can do

On hot days:

  • Bring a drink bottle
  • Dress for the conditions
  • Let us know if you are uncomfortable

If it gets too hot

If conditions are extreme or the space is not viable:

  • We may cancel the day and credit bookings
  • We will be flexible if you find the space too hot (for example, credit if it becomes uncomfortable)

We are working on upgrading heating and cooling. This is a pilot and we appreciate your patience as we sort out the basics.

Cancellation approach

Our approach to hot days is still developing. In general:

  • We will likely cancel a day if we have consecutive hot days or experience a heat wave
  • If you arrive and find it too hot, let us know and we will work out a credit or refund

We will communicate any cancellations as early as possible via email.
